Autolgous Fat Transfer Case Study 10

This lady wished to rejuvenate her breasts and primarily the volume of her breasts. She also did not wish to have breast implants.  Autologous fat transfer is a method of removing the fat from the body and transferring it into the breasts. Mr Ross uses the bodyjet liposuction equipment to remove the fat and this is a closed system that allows the fat to be filtered and purified within a closed system. As such the fat is not in contact with the environment and therefore the risks of infection are lower. The fat once purified is injected into the breasts. There do not appear to be any long term risks with fat transfer although patients need to be aware of the various guidelines available which are available on this website under recommended reading.
