Breast Augmentation Case Study 119

This lady underwent breast augmentation with anatomical implants placed in the subglandular plane. The plane above the muscle often can achieve a result where the implants sit closer in the midline. Being above the muscle they are not restricted by the edge of the muscle and are not pushed towards the armpit as the muscle contracts. Patients need to be taken through the pros and cons of the various types of implants, projections and planes of dissections so that can be empowered to make a decision as to which will be best for them. The postop result is seen at 6 weeks.
