Facial Reconstruction Case Study 77

This lady has had MOHS surgery to remove a BCC from her upper cheek. A local flap is often a good option to bring like for like tissue into the area. A local flap brings with it its own blood supply and often limits the contouring defect that can occur with skin grafting. The result is shown at 3 months and this lady has massaged the scars in order to help them settle.
