Nipple Correction Case Study 1
This lady has previously had a free DIEP flap for breast reconstruction. She has underwent a nipple reconstruction using the skin that has been brought up from the abdomen. The scars settle and this picture is taken at six months after the nipple reconstruction prior to undergoing tattooing of the nipple areola complex. Nipple reconstruction can be performed as a local anaesthetic procedure and is often performed 6 months after the reconstruction of the breast when the final breast position is established.
