Rhinoplasty Case Study 28

This lady was unhappy with the dorsum of her nose, the septum and the upper part of her tip. She has lost the ideal curve of her nose and as the light hits the nose preoperatively ones attention is drawn to the various irregular contours. She had a grossly deviated septum in combination and all of the various concerns have been addressed through a closed rhinoplasty approach. Patients do need to be consented that no matter how straight the nose is immediately postop that long term one cannot always get the septum completely straight. This lady is very happy with what has been achieved and also has been able to breathe properly through both nostrils which has not been able to do for years. Mr Ross often performs rhinoplasty procedures with his ENT colleague in order to obtain a desired aesthetic and functional result.
