Calf Augmentation Case Study 2

The options for calf enhancement include the use of implants and the use of fat transfer. Implants give a more reliable volume but do involve more risks than fat transfer. Fat transfer allows one to remove fat from one area and inject it into another area. This is done through small incisions which often fade to be a faint line. Fat does resorb and patients do need to be aware that it may take more than one surgery to give a volume they wish for. The results are seen after a couple of months and show an improvement in the both the volume of the calves but also the contour.
